I sit here in this laundromat at 7:00 am thinking to my self about the possibility’s of the day. I also think about the potential outcomes of everything i have heard from days prior to today and my brain is racing. To be woken up out of a sound sleep at 6:30 and to have you brain Instantly kick in and begin racing about the possibility’s is very weird for me. Then Jeremiah 29: 10-14 comes to mind witch says:
For thus says the LORD: After seventy years are completed at Babylon, I will visit you and perform My good word toward you, and cause you to return to this place. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find [Me], when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the LORD, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the LORD, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive.
The 70 years completed at Babylon symbolizes completion and fulfillment of God’s sovereign plans witch means to me these verses are something to hold on to. And then Proverbs 16:9 says:
A man’s heart plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps.
Wow what a wonderful way to start this day. But then I think about all the other stuff that I am to give to god and not worry about. Why after thinking about these wonderful verses do I start with fear and doubt. So I go for some answers and here is a brief summary:
Psalms 118:6 The LORD [is] on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?
Matthew 10:27-31 Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
Revelation 2;10 Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw [some] of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
That does make me feel better and maybe I can try to not fear.. Jeez do a look up in the bible on just the words “ Do Not Fear” and see what you get.. God really doesn’t want us to fear.. When 1 Peter 5:7 says ”cast all your care on him for he cares for you” we really should. Imagine that .. the bible really is a guide book and Wow what I could do if I could remember that all day. Day in and Day out… I hope this entry blesses you like it did me.. Thanks…
