7:00 Am and all is Well..

Monday, October 26th, 2009

I sit here in this laundromat at 7:00 am thinking to my self about the possibility’s of the day. I also think about the potential outcomes of everything i have heard from days prior to today and my brain is racing. To be woken up out of a sound sleep at 6:30 and to have you brain Instantly kick in and begin racing about the possibility’s is very weird for me. Then Jeremiah 29: 10-14 comes to mind witch says:

For thus says the LORD: After seventy years are completed at Babylon, I will visit you and perform My good word toward you, and cause you to return to this place. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find [Me], when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the LORD, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the LORD, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive.

The 70 years completed at Babylon symbolizes completion and fulfillment of God’s sovereign plans witch means to me these verses are something to hold on to. And then Proverbs 16:9 says:

A man’s heart plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps.

Wow what a wonderful way to start this day. But then I think about all the other stuff that I am to give to god and not worry about. Why after thinking about these wonderful verses do I start with fear and doubt. So I go for some answers and here is a brief summary:

Psalms 118:6 The LORD [is] on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?

Matthew 10:27-31 Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.

Revelation 2;10 Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw [some] of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

That does make me feel better and maybe I can try to not fear.. Jeez do a look up in the bible on just the words “ Do Not Fear” and see what you get.. God really doesn’t want us to fear.. When 1 Peter 5:7 says ”cast all your care on him for he cares for you” we really should. Imagine that .. the bible really is a guide book and Wow what I could do if I could remember that all day. Day in and Day out… I hope this entry blesses you like it did me.. Thanks…

Jason’s Prayer

Tuesday, October 20th, 2009

My Loving father in heaven thank you for knowing me and loving me More than I deserve.  Thank you also for listening to me in bad times and good. (1John 1:9, Isa 59:1-2)  I know that I would rather fight you for things I don’t really want than to take what you give that I really need.  So Give me a soul that Follows you and your direction, despite the Infection that at times goes unchecked within. (Rom 5:12)  Thank you that in the bad times in the wilderness of my life that you are willing to Carry me even though at times I may not see it. (DEU 1:31)  I pray that my eyes are shielded with godly glasses so that I am not led astray by them. (Psa 101:3)  Let me stop revisiting the old man and stop being a slave to sin so I can be a slave of righteousness. (Rom 6:6, 18)  This struggle with my infection weighs on me but I will prevail. (Rom 7: 14-25)  Thank you for making me who I am and placing me where I am even if I may not understand you ways. And for Understanding my jumbled thoughts.  (Jer 1:5 , Isa 55: 8-9)  Amen…

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Isaiah 59:1-2 Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden [His] face from you, So that He will not hear.

Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned–

Deuteronomy 1:31 and in the wilderness where you saw how the LORD your God carried you, as a man carries his son, in all the way that you went until you came to this place.

Psalm 101:3 I will set nothing wicked before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall away; It shall not cling to me.

Romans 6:6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with [Him], that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.

Romans 6:18 And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.

Romans 7:14-25 For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin. For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do. If, then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that [it is] good. But now, [it is] no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but [how] to perform what is good I do not find. For the good that I will [to do], I do not do; but the evil I will not [to do], that I practice. Now if I do what I will not [to do], it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man. But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? I thank God–through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.

Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

Isaiah 55:8-9 “For My thoughts [are] not your thoughts, Nor [are] your ways My ways,” says the LORD. “For [as] the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.

I am the Joslin and I am Awesome

“I am the Joslin and I am Awesome

This is a statement from the fake world of TV wrestling from a wrestler called The Miz not Joslin.  Obviously this is his Token line that he says after every good thing or bad that he does.  He says this line in effort to make him look good or tough[1] ( If slamming down on the ring mat 20 or 30 times is not enough).  Some people I would imagine like him and others don’t but this is a very cocky thing to say in the manner he is speaking.  Knowing that in the fake world of wrestling there is no room for humility[2] unless you are in trouble or submitting to someone else by force and even then this is not always the case. All of this is not to say that you are to have a bad self esteem in fact you should have a good one. Wikipedia states Self Esteem as reflect of a person’s overall evaluation or appraisal of his or her own worth.[3] As humans we all have time when we have issues with self esteem and we half to build ourselves back up. Or we see someone else who is having problems with self esteem or self worth and we do nothing to help figuring it is there problem. There are a few people who will walk across the room to listen or help but in a world of darkness that is a rare trait.

Cockiness and a over abundant self esteem is displayed week after week in this little world of TV wrestling.  Yet there is a Huge fowling of people the show Monday night raw is the highest-rated regularly scheduled program on cable television, and is the longest running episodic entertainment series in television history. After those facts tell me what you think the chances are of people believing not only what they see but the emotional aspects also.  I think they are way too good of a chance that people could be led astray[4] buy these false beliefs and that is exactly what the enemy wants us to believe.  Sometimes in secret other wrestlers stalk there adversaries in hopes that they can afflict damage or lead them astray down a bad path.  We have a enemy that does the same thing with us. 1Peter 5:8 states Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. This real life is starting to sound a lot like wrestling. On TV when one of the wrestlers is tired and battered they half to make it to their corner to tag in a fresh wrestler to take over for them.  Unlike TV we do not half to make it to our corner all we half to do is ask and pray.[5] So in conclusion unlike the cocky, over confident wrestlers who can matches where there is 2 on 2 or 2 on 3 we have the hardest match yet.  We have the forces of evil verses us. But wait we have other people or friends in our match that may help with the odds but in the end we have the ultimate partner in our match.  We have the Trinity on our side and I am glad I am on the winning side of this Total Victory.
